International public organization “Ecoproject Partnership” was created as nongovernmental nonprofit organization in 2000 in Minsk. It was started by specialists working in the sphere of environmental protection and rational use of nature resources with the aim to improve ecological educational level and awareness in environmental questions.
Our work is dedicated to establishing effective cooperation among population and specialists in the field of environment protection, communal service companies, educational establishments, public organizations, commercial and governmental organizations. We have partners in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands.
Actions implemented in the field of building performance:
In Minsk the same as in whole Belarus most spread energy efficiency measures are energy efficiency lightning, prevention of heat losses through doors and windows and thermorennovation.
Refurbishment of buildings is increasing it’s energy efficiency, but the amount of investments in refurbishment is not enough. For example in 2007 in Minsk there were 2.221 five-storeyed dwellers houses built between 1960-1970. Until 2008 681 houses were renovated, 378 houses had capital repairs and only 285 of them had thermo-renovation. The state program of capital repairs of houses in Minsk included 721 houses for refurbishment until 2015, but more 813 buildings needed it too
Besides The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus adopted a Complex Program on Designing, Building and Reconstruction of Energy Efficient Dwelling Houses in the Republic of Belarus for 2009-2010 and perspective until 2020. This Program adopts more energy efficient construction standards (rising of heat-transfer resistance to not less than 3,2 m2 0C/W for walls, 6 m2 0C/W for roofs, 1 m2 0C/W for windows and balcony doors). And a number of such buildings were and are being built across Belarus.
